Anyone comment on this photo?

http://www.airliners.net/open.file?i...tic=yes&size=LPiccie

Anyone explain that neon glow in the nacelles? Are they lit up like this by most carriers? Also, that flightdeck looks a little light for a dusk departure...has this piccy been played with?

Very impressive either way.

Cheers for any input,

Indeed I was. Apologies, my sense of humour is a bit on the lame side today.

As an aside...how cool would it be if nacelles DID look like this? Very Star Trek Enterprise-esque.

I'll go away now

How the hell did they get that up there. ??
I thought it was someone playing around with Photoeditor or something. Looking at other pics of this B742 in "Speyer" aircraft museum there are some interesting angles of people wing walking in a health & safety correct type enclosed walkway.

Impressive! didnt know about this one.

I bet it moves quite a bit when the wind gets to 30-40Kt.

What a structure.

The location of the 2 museum`s is not exactly FRANKFURT (EDDF) but more like
a) Speyer (about 80km south of Franfkurt), and
b) Sinnsheim (about 130km south of Frankfurt)

Link to both places
http://www.technik-museum.de/uk/indes.html (english link)

and then pick either one

Cheers
