Fast jet over london today?
Something just went over me in Camden town. It sounded like a single Hawk ( I didn't see it). I am going to go and look at the notams. Anyone care to enlighten me?

Looked like a tornado to me. Turned north over Russell Square at low altitude at about 12:15. Very unusual. Any idea what it was doing here?
Rumours in our office are its being sent to shoot down an unresponsive airliner....total gossip of course.

Heard it too... information please. Colleagues at work are looking nervous.

It was a tornado practising for the Battle of Britain fly past which takes place on the 19th (I think!!!
) over Westminster Abbey.
