Whose a/c??? (AUS question)

Hoping some of you Aussies (or those transiting Aussie ports) may have the answer I seek....

yes this is probably a question that will be classified as 'stupid newbie question', but it's driving me nuts and I must know....

a few times in Perth lately I've seen a large aircraft (unsure what sort as has been dark every time I've seen it) flying about the skies bearing a large 'P' in a circle on the tail. Possibly a blue or dark coloured fuselage (but may be just my bad eyesight....)

I had thought it was something like a 777 or other cargo-type jet....

Whose is it and what is it doing here? Have not seen it before this year......

T.I.A.

Bingo!!!

Thanks very much, that looks like the one....

(Was too busy to trawl thru A.net, so thanks for the efforts!!!

One funny thing I did hear someone say, on seeing that a/c take off at night - "look, that must belong to a president, it has a big 'P' on it...."

Thanks- now I can sleep again... j/k!
