747 turned back to terminal at MAN

Hi all,

Was at MAN on Saturday. Travelcitydirect.com 747 held at J3 for 24R and then turned back towards the terminal once traffic had cleared the taxiway. Anyone know why???

Seems a bit odd just wondering what kind of problems would explain such a maneouver.

Cheers.

Can we move this one to spotters forum?

Whilst not a newsworthy event, the chances are it was either a tech problem or it departed before its allocated runway slot and someone noticed so sent it back to stand. (not ATC slot, thats a different kettle of fish).
