Pair of piston twins over N. London last night
At about 2145 last night I (heard) saw two big twins, one after the other, line astern over North London.
They were heading east to West and would have passed close to Northolt, but far too high to land.
I think they were too big to be BN2's, and I'm fairly certain they weren't turboprops. (very loud tho')
I didn't get a very good look, but I think they had a shouder wing.
Does anyone know what they were? Just wondering.

Saw the same last night - Two C-130's on descent into Lyneham line astern. Unusual to see them so close (about 1 mile apart) through the London TMA. Must have been quiet in ATC.

Well, I was certainly wrongfooted. two herky birds was the last thing I was expecting. I'd say the view from up there would have been brilliant. This was about sunset.
