Air Wales flying high
Does anyone know whats going on with Air Wales lately , everyone seems to be very quiet on here ?
Flown with them a few times in the last few weeks with some good loads and punctuality !
Recent press releases indicate that the code-share with BmiBaby is also going well !?!
Good luck to everyone ! It's about time thinks started working out - Who's MD there these days ?
Cheers

Dunno who the MD is, but they have had their fifth ATR delivered (G-CDFF, I think?) and they survived the winter. They are also still running the BMI Baby flights to PIK (their aircraft are allowed around into the "big boys'" terminal area for this, rather than being stuck by the bizjet ramp!).
As for punctuality/reliability, I don't know.....but they have had some quite amateurish moments in the recent past.
However, they have a smart fleet of aircraft and that BMI codeshare can only be a good thing.
Saw one do a fantastic arcing visual approach around Rhoose point this morning.....dunno if it had pax aboard or not.
Good luck to them!
