Fog
Just looking out my window (living about 10 miles from east mids) it's 2am on mon/tues morning. Has anyone seen fog as bad as it is now. Went for a smoke outside and the security light is showing the individual droplets of water wafting thru the air. According to east mids metar rvr on 27 and 09 are 300m. In my book that's pretty auwful. anyone flying during the night want to comment??

Awful? That depends on the quality of the equipment you fly, your rating and the ILS systems.
Now if you have neither then you better have the fuel in your tanks to get you somewhere where the November fogs are not.
Hay its October think high winds and monsoons.
Hay its November think fog.
Hey think I need an office job on the ground.

just as an aside, East Mids gained around 8 divs in last night and the only loss was a shed around midnight (went to liverpool)
rvr's were around 450/500 most of the morning and did not cause any problems either!
