Ignasi where are you ?
Hello all
Maybe one of you know my former IFR instrucor Ignasi V.
He was instructing at Qualiflight Training, Dallas Fort Worth in the 95-96 Era.
A great mate I would be glad to hear from .
I think he went back to spain in the end of 1996, but had no news since.
Help appreciated.

Bonjour all !
First I want to thank the spanish pilots who helped me, this morning, in Cuatro Vientos to sort out my handling and Flight Plan problems ( how can it be so complicated over there ? )
Second, I would like to inform you (even if you don't care
) that I was able to trace and to find my friend Ignasi ... We had a very nice evening in Madrid, couple of beers too ( or too much beers a couple of times ? ...nah ! )
My problem maybe of interest for you if you try to get in touch with old friends from your US training.
The FAA keep up to date, a HUGE database of all the licence holders (foreigns or nationals )
Believe it or not, this database is made available to the public on the internet, and is totally free ...
If you know the name of your friend : you type it, you find it (provided he did'nt ask to remain anonymous )
Once you find his/her contact details (i.e postal adress ) it's a piece of cake to find the appropriate phone number with an international phone book
As I thought it may interest some of you, please find below the links to those fantastic tools
FAA Pilot Registry
International Phone Book
Best Regards

Thanks it will be great to get in touch with some friends from in the US.
If you think making a flight plan in Cuatro VIentos is complicated now, you should have seen it when I was doing my training there 3 or 4 years ago. They seem to be improving....fingers crossed.
