Commuting from Barcelona

I'm looking into moving to Barcelona & commuting to MAN/LHR/BRU on mainly ID tickets. Does anyone out there do this and get by or is it a nightmare? I do long patterns a couple of times a month.

just out of interest, can i assume that you work as flightdeck for a long haul carrier out of uk???
