Thank you for your interest in Turkish Airlines. We have had several recent developments with our contract at Turkish Airlines.

As you know, we recently completed an interview event in Miami with Turkish Airlines. We had more than 30 candidates attend over the course of four days. In spite of our best efforts to prepare everyone, only 7 passed. It was completely beyond our expectations. We felt that the interview was disorganized and that some of those who attended were not given a fair chance. Although we had been assured that the event would only include a face to face interview and a simulator ride, they also gave everyone a written ATP test. This left everyone feeling unprepared. In short, due to the unreasonably high failure rate we have encountered, we have decided to discontinue our relationship with Turkish Airlines in order to avoid you (and us) spending time and money uselessly.
With that being said, Turkish is still interviewing but has let their various agents know that they are going to limit the aircraft types they will interview for over the next few months. They will not schedule interviews in Miami again for the foreseeable future. They have also stopped interviewing A320 First Officers for the short term. Captains will be interviewed for about another 2 months.
