Operator OPC and type renewal on Spanish license

Muy buenas a todos.
I have a Spanish license with an A320 endorsed on it.
I'll soon have to renew the Type on the license and i'm already having nightmares thinking about having to come again to the DGAC to get it done.

How is the procedure to do it? exactly the same as to have it endorsed the first time? still have to deal with Mr. Valle?

thank you to everyone which would like to help.

suerte a todos.

M.

I went yesterday to DGAC, and I asked that question to the girl in "Titulos y Licencias". They aren't sure about the exact procedure if you do the LPC in another european country...but more or less like this: get your licence signed by the TRE, and ask him/her to give you a copy of his JAR TRE authorization, medical and licence (and I think you need a copy of the LPC form...). Then, send altogether with a copy of your signed licence to "Registro General"...and it should be enough (cross fingers...).
ĄĄSuerte!!

Do you know the method to send it to the Spanish DGAC?I mean via priority mail or what? You know the address?I think that is Licencia de personal de vuelo or registro general?. I need to send all to spanish DGAC, and i would like to know the correct procedure and address.

NOOOO just found out from this thread that my license is going to be delayed.

I have applied for my B737 rating to the Spanish CAA and I have encloses everything except copys of the TRI/TRE license and medicals. I just enclosed their authorization Now I am Fd since I got hired by an airline and they want me to start in two weeks. I don't see that happening

One more question. The airline wants me to have the "CAT II low visibility approval". Is it difficult to get it? What do I need to do.

I did iton my license 5 months ago, you need to take the following docīs and send them to "Registro General" in DGAC, not directly to the office.

1.- Form 1.240
2.- Copies of TRE License
3.- Copy of your license signed on the back
3.- Copy of sectors done

Thatīs all

Hi all.

Then just a final question. To renew a Type Rating if you have been not flying the type I understand that itīs enough to do a sector in a simulator with a TRE which includes a LPC or "Verificacion de competencia" 3 months before the Type rating expires?

Iīve asked to my TRTO and they told me that the cost of the renewal is about 600/700 Euro only, similiar to a ME Piston.

Why lot of people say that itīs so expensive to keep current a TR?

Many thanks in advance
