Hola!

Don't mean to hijack the thread but I have been spending a lot of time in Spain and I LOVE IT. My USAF Missions bring me into Rota and Sevilla quite a bit. Could you tell me how the Corporate or Airline hiring is in Spain and what typ eof licenses are required? Also how does one attain the appropriate Visa or this done by the gaining company? Muchos gracias para informacion con migo!

Hi Soundbarviolatr,

Normally you'll need a JAA licence to fly commercially in Europe.
An option for you is to apply to Ryanair. I know there is a few American guys flying on FAA licence with some kind of validation. With the type of roster they have for contractors (5 days on, followed by 5 days off) you could live in Spain and commute to whereever you are based for work.

I'm not sure what the corporate market is like in Spain at the moment. I also don't know how it works with visas...sorry.
