Medical CIMA and FAA

I will do my initial Jaa medical at CIMA and I am wondering if its good if I renew my FAA first class medical before I go to CIMA?

In the U.K if you go for an Initital Jaa medical and you are holder of an FAA medical you need to do fewer tests and also the limits for the requirements are for renewal and not initial when you do it like this. Is this the same with CIMA
