Starship Canaveral

Thought this now deserved it's own thread (as opposed to Texas) as this will mean SpaceX will eventually have 3 launch pads at Canaveral vs 2 in Texas.

SLC-37 has two pads (A and B), the third, almost complete, is on SLC-39A.

We’ve received approval to develop Space Launch Complex-37 for Starship operations at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Construction has started.

With three launch pads in Florida, Starship will be ready to support America’s national security and Artemis goals as the world’s premiere spaceport continues to evolve to enable airport-like operations. We’d like to thank the Department of the Air Force (
@usairforce), 45th Space Force (@SLDelta45), and U.S. Fish and Wildlife (@USFWS) for their effort on the environmental review

It's quite astonishing that this is being developed by a private company. This is the sort of thing that only governments could afford in the past.
Multiple sonic booms every day will be 'interesting' for the locals.

Multiple daily launches are certainly considered but IMHO not happening in the foreseable future.
