“The Russians are coming! The Russians are Coming”

I am a little sceptical about the estimated 150 MPH impact speed, Perhaps it is a typo or mistranslation.

If …and I emphasize if….the heat shield remains intact and the entry angle is not too steep and as surmised the parachute is already deployed or will fail to deploy it will be an exciting arrival, most likely into an ocean somewhere.

I don't think so. The last part of the athmospharic entry will be a normal vertical drop, so the speed of a falling rock .
