Proposal to integrate Spaceflight into ATC World

I think it deserves an own thread since Launches, Re-entries - regular or mishaps will interact with air traffic even more in near future.

The outlet SpaceNews has given an (US/MIL) ATC expert (Matthew Lewallen) some room to present his proposal for future close interoperability of space traffic and air traffic. A very good thought in my view.

Agree - not a bad thought at all. Large and long TDAs for experimental flight still a good idea, but when you've a few hundred pin point landings under your belt, I think there's a reasonable degree of confidence that things will go as planned. Going to fuzz even more if (when) we start doing pax flight between continents as sub-orbital lobs, so a good time to start thinking seriously about it
