What is that aircraft?

Tantalised every time I go to Vue Cinema to see a clip from the cockpit of an aircraft which is used to introduce the main feature film. What is the aircraft? Concorde? Space shuttle? It looks too real to be a studio mock up - but then again they can do wonderful things with CGI......if you recognize the aircraft from inside its cockpit, please let us know.

Oscar,
You've intrigued a lot of people - 1640 as I write this.

Could you take a photo next time you go to the cinema and then post it here?

My thoughts also.

There are quite a few of these intros on Youtube - could you point us in the right direction?

Thanks

Thanks for the replies - I have been away hence the long delay in acknowledging. Unfortunately I can't take a photo as they are banned in the cinema. I'll see if I can find the pic on YouTube - good idea. Otherwise I might just have to ask the management.

This is the youTube clip

This is the official Vue Star Wars trailer - the relevant bit showing the cockpit is in the first few seconds only!

It is indeed

Thank you. I can now snooze peacefully in the cinema knowing that the matter is solved.

Oscar,

I'm glad that's resolved. However, that's an absolutely fascinating video. Thanks for posting.
