Audioset Sennheiser HME100 microphone to XLR
Hey Professional Pilot's community.
I'm sad I'm not a pilot, yet (it can/could be on my wish list) but recently I purchased a Sennheiser HME 100 Headset in used or as new, very cheap.
I'm graduated in Sound Technology and apparently when I bought them, I noticed visually like it has two normal 1/4 jack plug in and a very great noise attenuation (yeah, I didn't know it was designed to aviation, before first google search).
Just came here to ask anyone there if there is any way to use the microphone to professional audio. I was wondering to use them to record drums, and with headphones, everything's ok; this microphone "M642/5-1 (PJ068)" plug is the problem, because I can't find any XLR (or 1/4 jack) simple adapter for it. Just found one possible solutions, that I don't know if solve me the problem here : Pilot USA - PA-71 cutting male plug and weld a XLR connect. Does it work ?
Sorry again because I consider this is not a typical interesting topic, I think, and thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
