Question Vultee Vengence

I have a friend who was an Australian Test Pilot and flew Vultee Vengence aircraft in Pakistan during WW2. He is looking for information on this aircraft and also on the Vultee company.

I understand the company was the Consolidated Vultee company and there were company pilots named Harvey Lemke and Dave Coddrington associated with it. The Consolidated Vultee company may have become Convair?

Any infomation appreciated.

Thanks

I think that Consolidated and Vultee might have been two separate companies, that amalgamated to form Convair.
