Question The March in March

Just wondered if many (any) other Ppruners are going on the Countryside Alliance march for Liberty & Livelihood in London on 18th March.

Just for the record the reasons for the march are as follows:

DEFEND the freedom and right of rural people to live our lives with dignity and in the way we choose.

PROTECT rural people from prejudice and bigotry, particularly against all country sports notably hunting with dogs

ACT NOW to address the real problems of the countryside which are killing our communities and our culture.

For further:

A lot of us live in pleasant rural areas, so how many of us are prepared to support the people we live amongst?

BTW I don't hunt, shoot or fish but I don't see why people should be prevented from doing so.

Won't be on the March but say "hi" to Same & Dave for me - Sam Butler and David Sherbourne Hoare. Great blokes.

The March has, of course, been cancelled because of the Foot & Mouth outbreak. Valuable livestock are being slaughtered in their hundreds and our Farmers are facing financial ruin ... so, what do you think the Government spent all day yesterday discussing ... the permanent ban on hunting! Get a grip!!

Hunting kills a few foxes but saves many sheep.

BSE and foot and mouth kills both people and livestock.

Wonder which subject will get more time in Parliament?//////
