San Francisco, Los Angeles & San Diego
To anyone from any of the above cities - in 6 weeks I'll be making my way over to visit the above.
Any advice on the best places to visit - both during the day and night - would be much appreciated.

Hmm dont live there but went on holiday in 2003. I'd definately visit Big Bear City - 3hr drive to the east out of LA.

S.F. is great. Lots of Stuff to do. Be sure to check out "The Rock" Alcatraz island. Its a good way to see the bay area because you get a boat ride out there. Also consider renting a bike and taking the Larkspur Ferry into Marin take a ride up to Fairfax. If your into cycling its the home of Mt. Biking. Bring warm weather and cold weather gear as the advection fog can be quite nasty - and it can be quite warm too.
