Thumbs up Cathay Captain to South Pole

I expect this will be moved but feel that, since it is in a good cause, it deserves an airing on R&N.

On 21st January 2004 Cathay Captain Ray Middleton and retired Guards officer, Alex Blyth reached the South Pole.
Apart from personal adventure, the trek was in support of the HALO Trust which organises the clearance of landmines and other abandoned munitions of war.
