PPRuNe carries adventurous, charity fund-raising duo further than most airlines are prepared to.
Next January, two guys are going to row the Atlantic. It’s a 3000 mile, 8 week journey.
Check out www.twomeninaboat.co.uk and support them in their quest to raise vital funds for Addenbrooke’s Oncology Department.
Having asked some of the UK carriers for support and either drawn a blank or in some cases no reply at all, even from my own company (a simple no would have been easy don’t you think?), Danny has kindly offered the services of PPRuNe. Now, can you help too?
With £30,000 already in the kitty we need to raise another £70,000 to reach our target and employ 3 extra nurses. Anything else we make is a much needed bonus for the charity. If you can help us with flights to the Canaries and back from the Caribbean that would be appreciated too.
