INDIAN CPL RENEWAL
 

Hi guys,

I need a bit of help.

I have CPL (ME + SE) expiring in April 2014. I had flown last on 27 Feb, 2009.

Just wanted to know what the procedure would be to get my licence current/renewed. Did check the DGCA website but nothing was clear. Do I have to give all 3 papers or just fly a certain no of hours? Would be great if some one could help me out..

PS: My class 1 medicals are current.

Renewal— The licence may be renewed on receipt of satisfactory evidence of the applicant —

(a) having undergone a medical examination in accordance with para 1(c) above;

(b) having satisfactorily completed not less than ten hours of flight time as Pilot-in-Command (Fifty percent of flight time as Co-Pilot may be counted towards the requirement of flight time as Pilot-in-Command) within a period of six months immediately preceding the date of application for renewal; or in lieu thereof, having satisfactorily completed the general flying test by day and night as laid down in clause (h) of paragraph 1 within the same period;

(c) having a current Flight Radio Telephone Operator’s Licence for operation of radio telephone apparatus on board an aircraft, issued by the Director-General.

Also, my rtr expires in jan 2014.. Had given both (part 1 and 2) in 2009.. To renew do we need to give both part 1 and 2 again for a lifetime rtr or just pay up rs 10k and u get the lifetime rt??

You just need to give part1 and you will get lifetime or else 30 hrs in last three years or 3months experience certificate for operating radio in aeromobile station.

I would like to ask, as if I have a CPL with multi engine and B737 type rating endorsed, which plane do i have to give my check ride on? Will giving it on a single engine renew my licence, as I WILL BE keeping my 737 endorsement current with the annual IR checks.
