When a company cannot even be bothered to respond to an email, why would I enter into any business with them? Very disappointing

CSA interest

To all applicants... especially NTR.

It appears CSA will not entertain agency transfers once signed up to commence selection process and within the contract period without release letters... And this may apply to even after the contract expires.

As the pilot has no contract with CSA , the application of CSA policy is outside your control - so think about what elements you might need to include in your agency contract to address this.

Most if not all agencies do not have a clause to require such a letter to be provided to you , thus there are no contractual grounds for you to ask for one.

The significnce of this is that if you go with an agent , do the selections process and are then supplied with a " bond " on signing a contract , you will be stuck.

So ensure that any aspect of bond up front or arrears etc is FULLY discussed before you even sign with any agency to represent you.

Agents requiring a bond is fine if upfront , but after signing up is unethical to be honest.

There are examples of this already in the pipeline and for many guys , stumping up anything up to 22k up front is a show stopper.

So, ask any agent you select about bonds at step 1. If not satisfactory, select another . Several do not require UPFRONT or deducted bonds , but will still chase you for it of course if able under contract terms if you leave early. Which to be honest is not likely in most guys cases anyway.

Caveat emptor!
