Ventura overseas

Hi guys, I came across Ventura overseas, a company with head office in Malaysia offering pilot jobs for freshers in Indonesia, please put forward your views, has anyone enrolled and successfully got employed, does anyone know if the company is genuine.

jehan 11th Jul 2012 07:57

Hi dude I also came across this just woundering if you got any news or info on it.

thanks

bayblade 12th Jul 2012 09:28

yes $45000 USD includes type rating, visa and arranging work permit.
this is the first venture of this sort for them.
considering we have to pay for our type rating even after getting hired by an indian carrier which is more or less equal to this amount, so is worth it?
anyone here considering this?

vishwas_ddn 12th Jul 2012 18:14

hi fellow aviators, well I got an entire training programme from them, the drawback which seems is the entire amount is paid in installments before we leave for Indonesia, I know few companies who ask for the last installment after we clear the simcheck with the airline in Indonesia, venture overseas is cheaper than others and the amount is payable to them in their Malaysian account, which seems a bit dodgy. what to you guys feel?

bayblade 12th Jul 2012 18:55

is this what mr.dharmesh said? did he say what if you did not clear the sim check?

vishwas_ddn 13th Jul 2012 04:46

@ bayblade....well i did not get any reply from dharmesh, i had to call delhi office and get the trng. prospectus. we need a face to face conversation to sort the differences.

Uniform. 18th Jul 2012 07:44

Any information regarding this one yet?
I had a word with a lady, she was not ready to disclose any airline name or the type rating school they'll be sending us for training. Infact she asked me to bring $16,000 DD/ Cheque when i come for interview in delhi... :ooh:

isnt this strange

Flying Mechanic 18th Jul 2012 07:57

I wonder how many will get sucked into this scheme!!

ckalli 18th Jul 2012 08:58

offices in india and philippines..

the philippine office is back and beyond, prob the cheapest place to stay in manila!

bunch of jobless indian students trying to make a quick buck.. stay far away from this deal.

bayblade 18th Jul 2012 11:42

the lady mentioned garuda, lion air and a couple of other airlines that i haven't heard about.

SOPS 18th Jul 2012 12:23

Ok, I will bite..what excatly is a "fresher", and what in your right mind, what ever a "fresher" is, makes you consider giving ANYONE $45,000, a good idea????:ugh:

coral_bay 18th Jul 2012 22:38

Stay away from them. Looks like another blue star aviation. Most of the airlines they have mentioned are not recruiting currently, and Garuda does not hire expat first officers. Coming to Lion air, MSD has an exclusive contract for Indian passport holders. So I dont think guys at ventura overseas even have a clue about recruitments in Indonesia.

Wesker 19th Jul 2012 02:30

I agree. Stay away. Garuda won't hire you. Maybe Lion Air but why would you pay money to work 6 days a week for a blacklisted airline?

aer_bourne 19th Jul 2012 07:02

tsk tsk

How much trust can i place in a company which wants 25 hrs of "Stimulator" time?

For those quick readers. They have written stimulator instead of simulator in their training prospectus.

aviator3233 25th Jul 2012 09:53

Does anyone know if all these airlines that they have mentioned hire female pilots or not cause as far as i know lion air doesn't and Indonesia is a muslim country

Ellips 25th Jul 2012 18:22

I found this link
http://ec.europa.eu/transport/air-ban/doc/list_en.pdf

It has list of Airlines blacklisted by the EU and also banned some airlines which also include the Lion Air. Would such things effect the credits to the pilots working for those airlines?

vishwas_ddn 25th Jul 2012 19:00

i had the same doubt as elips....but guys what is the market position presently?

aviator3233 26th Jul 2012 11:53

Venture overseas had vacancies in feb' 2012 for CPL holders in Scotland...now i dont know how the hell were they placing pilots in scotland wid pilots holding just their CPLs

vishwas_ddn 26th Jul 2012 19:38

if I am right they were asking CPL holders for filing up ground duty and other sectors in airport duty, not as flight crew.

blue_ingle 27th Jul 2012 06:05

recently i have come across knots aviation ,
they have some cadet program with sky fly airline in congo .

anyone has any information about it

vishwas_ddn 27th Jul 2012 09:45

@ blue....you would not buy trouble by going to congo, had few friends working there, very poorly maintained aircrafts, too much corruption, very poor living conditions, its an example of hell on earth.
one of my friend was even kidnapped by rebels there, PM of india had to intervene and deploy UN task force to get him back, can you guess where did they kidnap him? From the aircraft (king air) after it landed at an airfield.

expedite456 27th Jul 2012 19:50

Hi to everyone, I got an email from the Venture Overseas and they are conducting interviews in first week of august. The person I spoke to was not having sufficient information on the Payroll and other things. He asked me to come to Delhi(SOme Pitampara) place for Written and interview.

Uniform. 28th Jul 2012 06:18

@expedite456

directly for interview.?
because when i'd called up, she asked me for a skype interview with management almost 2 weeks back and after clearing that, another interview in Delhi for which we had to come with $6000 DD

aviator3233 28th Jul 2012 07:33

@Uniform

Whats the name of the lady you spoke to...cause i guess most of us got a call from a guy Dharmesh Doshi. And have you paid them yet ?

Uniform. 28th Jul 2012 15:53

I dont knw... i didnt even ask her, she told she is from Ventura overseas.
Act, I was having mail conversation with Dharmesh Doshi, regarding details (which he never mentioned) and suddenly a lady calls one day to give a skype interview.
I didnt gave that, as whole process seemed fake, that lady was not ready to give me any sort of detail.....the only thing she repeated was "its 100% job guarantee"

picollo 28th Jul 2012 18:28

Guys, you need to see here that this concept of paying for a job is bringing down the terms and conditions for all of us.
Please do not pay for a job. If you guys all stand united against this, airlines will have to stop this policy.

aviator3233 29th Jul 2012 06:51

@Uniform

I see..it does look like a fake one...and the online interview u gave was a technical or a personal interview ??

Uniform. 29th Jul 2012 11:12

@aviator3233
I didnt appear for any interview. She asked me for the very first round of interview on skype, and i asked her same thing, is it just a personal round or some technical, she wasnt sure about this and told "its for both".
I didnt appear because its not possible to give a technical round just like that, ofcourse i needed prep.

expedite456 30th Jul 2012 10:32

@uniform . . .They didnt ask me for the Payment. There was no exam fee as such....Did you go ahead with the procedure . .

blue_ingle 30th Jul 2012 11:55

even i had emailed them . suddenly i get a call from them in evening asking ,me to come down to delhi bringing a DD of $8000usd.

i asked them about whole process , but they just mentioned to come to delhi with DD and all your queries etc will be answered.

it seems like mystery shopper ..email scams

vishwas_ddn 30th Jul 2012 13:22

this is so insane. they just need a reason to earn out of us poor souls, actually whenever I walk down and say I'm a pilot, first thing which hits anyone is we are millionaires and liquid cash flowing all over my house....they dint get we took loans for this damn course.

Uniform. 30th Jul 2012 13:24

@expedite456
no, she didnt ask for anything to appear for skype interview but she did stress on bringing $6000 DD when i come to delhi.
By the way, the mail i got from them, it had an attachment with all payment details and there they have not mentioned this $6k anywhere.

its like.........

1. Submission of Documents with Venture Overseas Consulting Services Sdn.Bhd for review.
2. Registration for the process with Venture Overseas Consulting Services Sdn.Bhd with Initial installment of $16,000 USD.
3.Filing of Tourist Visa - Indonesia
4.Applicant pays the Second installment of $20,000 USD on receiving the Job Offer Letter
5.Applicant pays the Final installment of $9,000 USD on receiving the Air Tickets to Jakarta
6.The candidate flies to Indonesia.
7.If required, we give Type Rating & Line Training.
8.The applicant starts working post the training

bayblade 30th Jul 2012 15:45

:uhoh: so true.
and if that's not bad enough many actually come up and say "why don't you start flying?!" what do i fly? my car? paper planes?
" AI needs so many pilots, why don't you fly for them" yeah right, they'd welcome me with open arms!

bayblade 30th Jul 2012 15:52

to add to that, some wise souls would tell me examples of how soon his/her friend's friend bagged a job in airlines in 2007-8. its no big deal i tell you.

vishwas_ddn 30th Jul 2012 19:09

@ beyblade.....sooo damn true....you see its we indians :p .... thanks to the dgca..they blackmail the airlines and bag jobs for their kids, one guy who started cleaning the gutter mr. bhushan got kicked out, welcome to india. Here merit is nowhere to be considered.
And more than airlines interview im worried to face my aunt who is arriving tomorrow hahahaha.... im preparing my answer :)
Godamn kudos to the media for publishing soo many news about aviation boom back in 2007-2008, that we got overflodded by mudbloods :/.
.
good night guys its another day to dream about my machine at FL430, cant wait for that day.

aviator3233 4th Aug 2012 05:47

Hello...to all those who passed their exam and interview....
Is anyone paying them and going ahead with their program???

Uniform. 13th Sep 2012 13:49

OK..!!

So, i again get a call from this consultancy :hmm:
They are conducting written examination at delhi on this 18th, calling every possible unemployed pilot like me, sending out the call letters and asking for confirmation reply to book the slot.

This time they aren't asking for any fee to appear for written.

Anybody else who got the call?

scorps 19th Sep 2012 10:57

My friend got a call from them to attend a interview on sep 25, so whats the deal with these people? Have they sent pilots to job earlier?l

Uniform. 20th Sep 2012 05:11

@ scorps
did he gave the written test on 18th and cleared it for interview..? or are they taking the test again on 25th?

Ellips 20th Sep 2012 07:27

Even i got a call today from them, The caller is Dharmesh.

He says there would be a written on 25th on Nav and Met (He only mentioned me these two subjects). and there would be a one on one interview the same day itself subjected to the performance in the written test.

No fee is required as on date but claims that the entire program cost is around 23 lakhs.

Of-course he insisted plenty times that it's Job Guaranteed. and the work places could be Paris, Belgium or Indonesia.
