Hi dude I also came across this just woundering if you got any news or info on it.

thanks

bayblade 12th Jul 2012 09:28

yes $45000 USD includes type rating, visa and arranging work permit.
this is the first venture of this sort for them.
considering we have to pay for our type rating even after getting hired by an indian carrier which is more or less equal to this amount, so is worth it?
anyone here considering this?

vishwas_ddn 12th Jul 2012 18:14

hi fellow aviators, well I got an entire training programme from them, the drawback which seems is the entire amount is paid in installments before we leave for Indonesia, I know few companies who ask for the last installment after we clear the simcheck with the airline in Indonesia, venture overseas is cheaper than others and the amount is payable to them in their Malaysian account, which seems a bit dodgy. what to you guys feel?

is this what mr.dharmesh said? did he say what if you did not clear the sim check?

vishwas_ddn 13th Jul 2012 04:46

@ bayblade....well i did not get any reply from dharmesh, i had to call delhi office and get the trng. prospectus. we need a face to face conversation to sort the differences.

Any information regarding this one yet?
I had a word with a lady, she was not ready to disclose any airline name or the type rating school they'll be sending us for training. Infact she asked me to bring $16,000 DD/ Cheque when i come for interview in delhi... :ooh:

isnt this strange

I wonder how many will get sucked into this scheme!!

ckalli 18th Jul 2012 08:58

offices in india and philippines..

the philippine office is back and beyond, prob the cheapest place to stay in manila!

bunch of jobless indian students trying to make a quick buck.. stay far away from this deal.

bayblade 18th Jul 2012 11:42

the lady mentioned garuda, lion air and a couple of other airlines that i haven't heard about.

SOPS 18th Jul 2012 12:23

Ok, I will bite..what excatly is a "fresher", and what in your right mind, what ever a "fresher" is, makes you consider giving ANYONE $45,000, a good idea????:ugh:

coral_bay 18th Jul 2012 22:38

Stay away from them. Looks like another blue star aviation. Most of the airlines they have mentioned are not recruiting currently, and Garuda does not hire expat first officers. Coming to Lion air, MSD has an exclusive contract for Indian passport holders. So I dont think guys at ventura overseas even have a clue about recruitments in Indonesia.

I agree. Stay away. Garuda won't hire you. Maybe Lion Air but why would you pay money to work 6 days a week for a blacklisted airline?

aer_bourne 19th Jul 2012 07:02

tsk tsk

How much trust can i place in a company which wants 25 hrs of "Stimulator" time?

For those quick readers. They have written stimulator instead of simulator in their training prospectus.

aviator3233 25th Jul 2012 09:53

Does anyone know if all these airlines that they have mentioned hire female pilots or not cause as far as i know lion air doesn't and Indonesia is a muslim country

Ellips 25th Jul 2012 18:22

I found this link
http://ec.europa.eu/transport/air-ban/doc/list_en.pdf

It has list of Airlines blacklisted by the EU and also banned some airlines which also include the Lion Air. Would such things effect the credits to the pilots working for those airlines?

vishwas_ddn 25th Jul 2012 19:00

i had the same doubt as elips....but guys what is the market position presently?

aviator3233 26th Jul 2012 11:53

Venture overseas had vacancies in feb' 2012 for CPL holders in Scotland...now i dont know how the hell were they placing pilots in scotland wid pilots holding just their CPLs

vishwas_ddn 26th Jul 2012 19:38

if I am right they were asking CPL holders for filing up ground duty and other sectors in airport duty, not as flight crew.

blue_ingle 27th Jul 2012 06:05
