Anyone working for this airline in PR?

Hey, Just wondering if these guys hire low hour pilots? (250 hours) as first officers? anyone got any info on this? what are the requirements? I heard they hire locals only as FO's is this true? thanks.

They were hiring low time pilots. but turns out maldivian gov. isint issuing work permits to foreign First officers

so it gonna be like that all the time or are they gonna hire low hours pilots again and do u have to have sea plane rating or you can do it after we get hire??

You need a seaplane rating before you go there. Their primary candidates are DHC6 seaplane captains, or high time seaplane pilots that will eventually upgrade to captain.

FO's need to be a local - the exception being experienced float guys that after a bit of twoter time in country are a easy upgrade. Need at least 1700hrs of floats for this and turbine tie like on a C208 anphib helps. :eek: Edit, update here, expats are go again
