F2000 job in India...
Does anybody know this outfit or at least have heard of it? The conditions aren't great, but before I go any deeper:

Lots of Falcon 2000 operators in India. GMR Aviation also operates 3 Falcon 2000s.

Anyone considering coming to India, needs to take this into consideration.
You may not only loose the job you are looking for but may end up with a very shaky hold on your existing licence. |

What they don't tell you is you don't get a day off. You only get 30 days off in a year for your vacation. :ugh::ugh:

@weido salt
first know the difference between lose and "loose" before you start writing :mad: about one of the best companies ( general aviation) in India....
do you know how many expats are employed here?? get your facts right for chrissake.... |
Yes stand corrected on the spelling.
I am not running down any company as I don't know who is advertising. What I am concerned about is the hopefuls coming to India and having to sit a military medical, failing, and then having to inform the authorities of this event when they have their next medical examination to renew their existing license.. What the authorities are really saying is they don't trust the medical examinations carried out by AME's authorised by the FAA, JAA or whomever. Cant you see the folly in this directive? So who in their right mind would want to come to India and work and be subjected to this treatment? This would mean a foreign license holder under FATA, will be subject to 4 medical examinations per year and jabbed with a needle at least twice in that year in conditions of suspect hygiene. For what? |

Come on then. I am awaiting your response. Tell me what person would come to work in India with BS like this to contend with?? |
Seriously, that salary seems a bit on the low side - i wouldn't be surprised if 1/4 of it went to the agent each month...
My advice (from someone who has been here almost 3 years) is if you are seriously interested come over first and check this place out - If you can find work elsewhere DO IT.... normal salary is 13000 - 18000 USD NET of tax depending on what you are flying. plus all the standard extras. |
can anyone please let me know the best school for type rating on Falcon 2000 apart from CAE and Flight safety.
|
Best school is the one your company has the training contract with!
Why dont you ask them.... if you walk in on your own you are going to pay a lot for a type rating. |
