I'm told CAAS won't deal with individuals, and your application has to go through your sponsor ie the company wanting to employ you.

Unfortunately, you can just "walk in" and get a Singapore license. You first have to be employed by a 9V- carrier and then your application will be entertained.

The info you need on conversion is all stated in the CAAS website.

Thanks for your answers.
I sent a mail to Mrs Fauziah but ...no answer!

The problem Mr Green , is you need a Singapore licence to fly a 9V- !!??

Have to take flight test and Singapre Air Law test.

Thereis a 'N' reg aircraft for hire if you 're keen.

Hi brtch,

You may be able to get a reply if :
1. You spell Singaporean correctly
2. Address Fauziah as Ms iso Mrs :D

You can also try contacting the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) Flight Operations department directly by telephone. The number for that department is : +65-65412482 or +65-65412483. The fax number : +65-65456519.
