I'm told CAAS won't deal with individuals, and your application has to go through your sponsor ie the company wanting to employ you.

Unfortunately, you can just "walk in" and get a Singapore license. You first have to be employed by a 9V- carrier and then your application will be entertained.

The info you need on conversion is all stated in the CAAS website.

Hi brtch,

You may be able to get a reply if :
1. You spell Singaporean correctly
2. Address Fauziah as Ms iso Mrs

You can also try contacting the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) Flight Operations department directly by telephone. The number for that department is : +65-65412482 or +65-65412483. The fax number : +65-65456519.
