Bit like chalk and cheese ... after collecting what would be highly subjective results what possible conclusion could you draw from it?
Would suggest that it would be more productive to enquire along your personal requirements rather than pray (or prey) for an answer through others
Just a thought...

Not offended in the slightest ... just a little puzzled at the question.
Ahhh ... if you were wondering what the colour of the grass on the other side was, why not just say so? Folks might not answer, but at least you would have an answer to your question.
Happy flying

As far as I know both airlines have the same criteria, except MAS would look into locals rather than hiring another expat. Latest news they are terminating/not renewing the expat terms. If you're a Malaysian holding an ATPL there's a chance into MAS but if you're looking for a left seat anytime soon, then AirAsia probably do fine for you! About the criteria in total...got to check with some insider first! Sorry.
regarding the topic..... MAS pays better than AirAsia plus based on their seniority system and what not, you won't be having a single type rating for the rest of your life like in AirAsia unless they've planned to buy other type as we speak now.....
