SQ wish list

This year SQ will still make subtantial money and get to fulfill it's wish list.

Wish list like :
1) How to cut pay again while making money

2) How to sack people without actually trying.

3) how to rid super scale pay-role employees while
securing total employee support

4) How to threaten current employees without being noticed

5) How deny Employees deserving bonus by using creative
accounting.. Using former Anderson advisors not yet
arrested

6) How to alter binding agreements by using "bad" economic
climate as a reason.

7) How to get cheap labour to operate high tech equipment.

How to sack people without actually trying?

By retiring the Airbus A310 and A340.

By saying not enough flights to go around, blaming on travel bans by respective governments

How to get cheap labour to operate high tech equipment.

Pay SGD$900per month for cadets to train to fly.

But they'll still make a profit, remember the depreciation policy change last year???

Wink

It might be a good idea to sweeten the list with some candies.

Now that the name Kiasu has been mutated to Kiasi (with SARS on full rampage) probably their priority wish list will be able to be called Kiasu again.

The Iraq war and SARS in some respects is almost a dream come true to SIA management. Although it is hurting financially at present it gives them the excuse to terrorise and screw down once and for all the workforce which will pay huge dividends in the long run.

The financial results for year to 31st March will be announced soon and they should be good as loads were good on all routes etc etc. They have changed the depreciation on aircraft which has always depressed the real profit, but of course they will find a way to massage the real figures or move the goal posts yet again in order not to pay a Bonus which is based on the past financial year and nothing to do with the year ahead which looks bleak at present.
Dr Cheong who retires would like to go out in a blaze of glory somehow . No one will mention the $2 Billion he lost in his reckless investments in AirNZ/Ansett or Virgin!!!!
