Question Travera/Freeport/Irian Jaya

Anybody know anything about Travera? Are they the outfit that provides air transport for the Freeport mine? What do they fly? What are they like to work for? Etc, etc.

Travira Aviation

I ferried a new Beech 1900D to them from Wichita to Singapore this past May. From what I understand they now have 2 1900D's and misc. helicopters doing work for several oil companies. I was offered to go back on a 6 month contract to do Line Training, but the pay offered was way too low.

Cheers!!

Thanks for the info.

So what were they offering for pay? Would it be tax free? Any bennies? Accomodation? Did their guys seem happy working there?
