EVA and China

Is it safe to say that EVA is a better deal? I have applied to both but can't really gauge who is better. You'd figure that both would have various bases abroad like Cathay. I thought China did! Where are they getting people these days to live in TPE on such terms and for only a specific time. Didn't EVA let go about 60+ after 911. What happened to them, were they called back before new recruiting again? Would like to fly a 747 abroad again. I'm single and can live on low pay but looking for a long term gig with decent terms. Thanks.

Eva didn't call anybody in regard of 60 expat and they will not.
That was brutal, many close to retirement.
Nice way to steal 4,200,000 US$.
EXPL.: For every year of service pilot has 2 salaries in pension fund, but to take money out someone must stay minimum 15 years in company + be 55 years old.
Average stay was 5 years=10 salaries
10 X 7,000 US$ =70,000 $
70,000 X 60=4,200,000 US$
All pilots should remember this.
