Fascinating story about 1950 and 1966 Air India crashes in the Alps

I don't have enough posts to place a URL, but it's in the Dec/Jan 2020 Economist, in their 1843magazine section, by Simon Akam.

Interesting coincidence with the airline as well, though a bit macabre the slow moving conveyor in that glacier of remains and debris though.

Good link all the same, thanks

A fascinating story indeed. But I attended a lecture by Jean-Daniel Roche recently in a village near where I live and was not at all impressed. In my opinon he is a publicity seeker and a voyeur, taking an unpleasant interest in the intimate belongings of the dead passenger found in the wreckage. Knowing I was an ex-pilot, he asked me what I thought about what he was doing, I declined to answer because I was so disgusted by his attitude and walked out.

Yes, I got a bit of this implicit in the article.

Thanks for the link, Safelife.
