Instrument Current for DGCA Conversions?

Hi Guys
I am getting my FAA CPL converted to DGCA and was wondering if I need to be instrument current before applying? I got my instrument rating 2 years ago. Please let me know if i need an Instrument Proficiency Check?
Thank You

As far as I remember, No, you don't need it to be current. The hours need to be current (certain hours in the past 6 months or whatever the time frame is; check the conversion flowchart on the dgca website) but for the checkride/rating itself; it doesn't have to be current.
