Any info on Air Guilin or Beibu Gulf?
As per the title really.
I previously asked about Air Guilin but with no response so here I'm trying again and adding Beibu Gulf into the mix.
I can see via a few agencies the stated money but have no luck on getting details with regards rosters, nights away, multi sectors, if expat pilots are already there etc
any help or opinions are appreciated
thanks

Surely someone has some info?
Guilin has been recommended on here and is listed by most agencies, however the info is scarce.
I'm trying hard to ignore the alarm bells if nobody has any info.

I believe the lack of response to your questions is simply due to the fact that no one on PPRuNe is actually working there.
I made some investigations myself into Air Guilin and found nothing. Alll i got back from the agency is that a total of 6 expats have worked there.
The company sounds good on paper but I needed to get some insight into the attitude towards expats before pulling the trigger. I got nothing, so I made the assumption that it’s the same as everywhere else in China and gave up.

The salary of Air Guilin is the highest among all airbus company in China.
It is not a big company, but with high salary and can listen pilots' words.
About rosters, all are chinese cities, including SHE, TNA.
And you need to aks your days off for airlines in advance, normally, they will give you days off according to your requirements. In days off period, you will fly 4 days and get 2 days off.
I only know these, hope these can help you.

Thanks for the reply ecam.
I fear you are right, the agencies have been very poor with replies and info hence I was hoping someone on here would know a friend of a friend etc with more info.

Thanks pumba
Can I ask how you got this info?
I actually thought hna were the highest pay at the moment but I'm attracted to the idea of being based outside the major cities and in a smaller airline.

As far as I know, small compang will be have more chance, and they will be more flexible and can listen pilots' words.
Some guys like big and international cities, some like smaller one. If you want a small city, Air Guilin and Lucky Air will be your chioces. If you also want a smaller company, Air Guilin is good.
