G 200 TYPE RATING
HI , I have a total time of 2500 and 1900 on a light jet , just wondering if I should take up a job on a G-200 company sponsored rating .
Anyone out there who has flown a G-200 and give some valuable advise on how the type rating is and is it worth taking up the offer.
Thanks

Take it . Never say no to a free rating . It's a good rating . I went from a A330'to a G200. The G200 rating led on to G450/5/550. I enjoyed my G200 time, flew it for 3 years.

I suggest asking this question in the Bizav forum also. I know one pilot who has about the best bizjet job I've ever heard of on a G200 in Taiwan. That said, the G200 type is limited to only so many jobs, but if it leads to the next type it could be great for you.

Go for It !
I have been flying the G200 in Asia for 6 years and love every minute of it. If you want to fly corporate then, go for it! If you interested in climbing your way to the biggest and highest, then good luck to you. Set your alarm clock! My schedule, location, crew and lifestyle are hard to beat. Be careful you might just end up liking the G200!
