Medical China and Japan

Good day Fellow,

little question : I have an incomplete right bundle branch block on ECG. Nothing special, it is very common.

It is not an issue for my EASA medical, could you confirm it is not an issue for japanese and chinese medical? Maybe some of you got the same.

Thank for your inputs.

That's spooky; I was talking to one of the AJX pilots about this very topic just two days ago. He has that appear on his ECG each year and hasn't had any problems yet. It got mentioned fairly early on when he got here but now doesn't even attract comment from the Dr. He said he did have it before he arrived in Japan but cannot remember if it showed up on the initial medical ECGs. If it did it wasn't mentioned and possibly only appeared once he'd been here for a little while. It's only the initial medicals that are a bit more painful than you're used to; once you're in the system they are not quite so retentive but still much more so than the FAA/CAA ones where if you can walk in you've passed. SO, to answer your question, it would seem that it is an acceptable condition with the Japanese docs.
