Another indonesian missing... twin otter

A Twin Otter light plane, operated by Aviastar, has reportedly lost contact during a flight in South Sulawesi.

Carrying 3 crew and 10 passengers, including 2 children and a baby, the plane departed from the Andi Djemma Airport in Masamba, Luwu regency, at 2.25 p.m. to fly to Sultan Hasanuddin Airport in Makassar. It was supposed to land in Makassar at 3.35 p.m.

South Sulawesi and West Sulawesi Police spokesperson Kombes F Barung Mangera confirmed that the plane was missing to kompas.com.

"According to schedule, the plane should have arrived [in Makassar] at 3.35 p.m., but it still wasn't there at 6.05 p.m. The last contact made was 11 minutes from Masamba, when the plane is estimated to have been near Palopo," said Barung.
