Hope everyone's doing well. I have some queries here look forward to getting answered.
1, Can anyone shed light on the current situation in IBEX now? It seems no screening is going on at the moment, is it due to the travel restriction, or maybe IBEX is properly staffed?
2, I am now a type-rated CRJ first officer with 2000 hours on type, any chance to get hired and upgrade later on, or being captain is a prerequisite?
3, Are they in support of applying for permanent residency in Japan? Am I still responsible for tax in Japan as an expat?

IBEX is still up and running and flying 73% of our schedule currently... With the reduced schedule we are fully staffed for now... NO recruiting of Expats is planned... Recruiting Japanese Captains is ongoing with the down turn in the industry...
IBEX only hires experienced Expat Captains... All First Officers are Japanese and the Aviation Colleges and Military produce enough to meet demand...
For the Expats hired by IBEX the company provides the needed paperwork for your work visa and Resident Card... The contract is a NET contract so Japanese Taxes are taken care of by the Company thru the Crew Leasing Agencies...
Upgrade and get 500 hours PIC on type then check back... I try to post when they are looking to screen...
