Arrow Canadian ME to Indian DGCA ME conversion

I hold a Canadian ME CPL.

In India I did the SE skill tests and applied for conversion. I got the Indian SE IR CPL.

Now I want to do the ME skill tests for the Indian ME IR CPL.

The requirements for thiswere fulfilled in my flying training for the Canadian CPL ME.

My query is -

1) Do I only have to do the ME skill tests in India and then apply for the ME rating?

2) When getting the ME rating on the Canadian license, I had passed the ground knowledge/aircraft specific exam in Canada for the ME rating. Do I have to pass the DGCA type specific exam?

Thank you.
