Biman experience

I flew 6 month with a Parc contract for Biman 2 years ago, when they received their 2 brand new 777.
That was a really good experience for me, personally as much as professionally.
Bangladeshi people are nice, and they were really good with me.
Dhaka is dirty, noisy and polluted, as many capital city in this part of the world.
We were staying at the Dhaka Regency Hotel, which have the real advantage to be 5 minutes away from the airport, but far from town.
I won't say they were organised, expats were having a day by day roster, the first 2 month I flew more than 100 hours a month and most of the flights were 2 man crew (till 14 hours of duty), with a minimum rest of 12 hours in Dhaka.
The 6/2 roster was a dream, it never happened lol. I finally had my account of weeks off but definitely not with a 6/2 rhythm.
My objective's not to denigrate Biman Bangladesh Airlines, but just share my experience with this company, as I already said, that was a funny and incredible adventure in my career. I met some really nice guy, and I could recommand Biman as an experience.

Thanks for the info

Do they hire non-rated expat FOs on the B777?

msian, negative, not even type rated F/O's as they're promoting all their internal guys, hence recent vacancies for B737/A310.
