RAL offering 5 year contract in Hanoi.
I understand FO has to pay for training to upgrade.
I also was told that Captain's joining now have there first months pay
cut in half or something like that as some kind of bond.
Heard alot of Crew leaving and people getting 90 hrs plus over there.
That info came from someone I know working there.

So i guess no more expat F/O's on ppjn is a bit out of date then. You have to go through agency or is direct not allowed? If you go on the vietnam airlines website, on the jobs page there is email provided but is that for locals only?

I worked on a contract with Rishworth for eight years at VNA without any major snags, they were very helpful when a problem occurred, but management at VNA is very tricky to deal with for both contractor and expat pilot.

Vietnam was a great country to live in, never a dull moment, equipment was well maintained, good luck!

What are the chance to transition to A330 or 777 from the 320?
