New DGCA process for medical appointments

The DGCA has come out with a new and simplified process for renewal of Class 1 medical at the AIR FORCE STATIONS including AFCME , IAM and MEC

From 1st Jan 2014 if you wish to do the initial or renewal medical at any of the Air Force stations in India then you need to book a slot with the DGCA
by filling the application form and emailing it to them
You will not be able to contact the air force directly to schedule with them

Once a date has been assigned they will reply back via email and will also forward the PMR directly without having to give a separate request by post

Please read it carefully

http://www.dgca.nic.in/medical/Proce...d%20System.pdf

P.S : The above system is only applicable for renewal at AIR FORCE Stations . If you wish to renew at private Class 1 doctor then there is no need to follow the above process
Just call up the doctor directly and schedule it with them . Private doctors also dont need the PMR to renew the medical

The application form for filling up the request is included in the link I have given in the first post

However if you would like just the form alone without the instructions feel free to download it from here

https://app.box.com/s/a4lv8r0v3oghnqag7bib

P.S : If you have an iPad you can use Adobe reader to type it in electronically ( you can edit pdf in adobe reader ) and sign it within Adobe reader itself and email it directly using the mail app

This will save you the trouble of having to print , fill , sign , scan and then upload and email
