FAA licence with EASA ATPL?

Hi, I need some advise from a qualified person who knows,if you dont know then please dont respond . I have a CPL and IR, all FAA, if I plan to fly in Asia I really dont need to convert my FAA licences only validate as I have read. But I would like to Complete my ATPL frozen here in the UK. Of what benefit would having an ATPL frozen be in Asia, before it becomes un-frozen. In a nutshell, if I complete the ATPL frozen, do I also have to convert my FAA licences? If having the atpl frozen will improve my credentials for future jobs and nothing else then im all for studying for the atpl. Anyone else been in this situation before? Should I spend the money that I would have invested on the 14 exam course on something else, such as a MCC licence?

Thanks again,
