Tianjin EMB190 CA

Hello,

I'm a European/American dual citizen and 30 years of age. I'm divorced and have a daughter who I would need to see and therefore I would commute. I'm currently working for an American Regional carrier. I'm getting close to upgrade to command and i'm considering passing up on my current and more junior aircraft type in favor of the EMB170/190. The reason for this is the temptation of the lucrative contracts being offered by agencies for Tianjin Airlines. I'd like to get some information about the realities of living under these contracts. I have already searched the subject and gathered that it is hard work and the standards of living are a little rough.

My idea would be to work 3 to 6 years and come back to the American industry which by then should be hiring a lot of pilots.

My questions are:

1: Do you really get paid the advertised amount?
2: Is it possible to pick up overtime in between trips during the 6 weeks on?
3: How much do you need to budget per month on living expenses in china with everything included?
4: How is the commuting in reality?
5: How is the tax situation for a person with my citizen status, is the money tax free?

Thank you!
