Indonesia Working Visa

Hello Guys ,

I had a Job offer in Indonesia and the company applied for my working visa to the immigration service.
Unlikely after three months I am still waiting for my Visa ....
Company told me that this time the immigration service needs more time than normal to issue a Visa cause rules are changed.

Does somebody knows something about causes of this long delay ? (normally was around 3 weeks).
What is changed exatly ?
Anybody else in my same situation ???

Any info are apreciated.
Thanks a lot in advance
Jack

you are around that timeframe that it takes to get the permit done. it took the same about a full 4 months in my case & a couple of colleagues to get it done recently, this was about couple of months ago. Yes my company said the same about the rules being changed i.e. tougher scrutiny especially towards Flight Crew. Something about getting clearance from our home country & all. Don't understand so was this not done b4?? .Sorry am not really helpful here but be behind ur company personal or the agents who do the job 4 the company at the Immigrasi. A little bit "push" always helps also

ya get in touch with the person at the company who corresponds with the agent for the company in turn doing the job at the immigration. There is always an agent present usually. That's what we did, offered the agent some quick bucks...some 2 weeks later permit done... cheers

Work Permit

Usually takes at least a month or more, one thing I have learnt nothing happens fast with paperwork.
