There is enough and more room for more players in the Indian Market.
Healthy competition should always be encouraged. In India, every airline tries to cannibalize on each others passengers rather than pushing for newer markets and thinking out of the box.
The current positive trend is largely due to Kingfisher's Collapse - True, but if the current crop of airlines thinks that this is growth, then they are grossly mistaken. In the long run, they will come to realise, opening newer markets and pushing for a good solid greenfield infrastructure is the only key to success in our beautiful industry.
This bug is what seems to have already bitten AirAsia India, Air Pegasus, Air Costa, QuikJet, Capt. Gopi's new yet-unnamed venture. and many more to come.
